  • As an interim unit manager for waste collection in Zoetermeer, you ensure that everything runs smoothly together with two fellow unit managers. You jointly manage a team of 35 employees. The atmosphere is open, and everyone helps each other. Together with the planner, you ensure that waste collection is carried out well, safely, and customer-friendly every day. In this role, no day is the same. You coordinate your team's deployment, lead work meetings, monitor progress, and step in where necessary. You have contact with contractors, assess quotes, and handle reports from residents. In winter, you participate in the emergency service and organize ice control with colleagues. Furthermore, you prepare reports and post-calculations and take on small projects. You motivate your team with genuine attention. You are clear, straightforward, and know how to get people moving.
