We are looking for a Coordinator Safety & Environment in the Tiel and Nederweert region who will become the fixed point of contact for everything related to Health, Safety & Environment within the production locations in Tiel and Nederweert. You combine coaching, supervision, and administration with practical support on the shop floor. Thanks to your efforts, colleagues can work safely, and the organization remains compliant and future-proof. As Coordinator Safety & Environment, you work closely with the plant manager and the central Safety & Environment team. You ensure that laws and regulations are complied with and that safety is alive within the organization. You are involved in coaching employees and managers on safe behavior, conducting safety rounds and internal audits, drafting and updating RI&Es, implementing and monitoring improvement measures, guiding certifying audits, managing the hazardous substances register and Safety Data Sheets, monitoring environmental legislation and permit requirements, supporting with TRAs, contractor administration and major maintenance, and providing accurate HSE administration. You work partly across locations and occasionally visit other sites in the Netherlands.
