As a household assistant in Rotterdam, you truly make a difference. You support people who can no longer manage their household alone. You do this at their homes, for 3 to 28 hours per week. You ensure a clean house and are a listening ear. This job is varied and provides a lot of satisfaction. You and the client determine what is needed together. This ensures a pleasant collaboration. On an average workday, you visit regular clients. You start with vacuuming and mopping. Then you clean the kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. You do the dishes, tidy up, and sometimes clean the windows. Besides cleaning, you have a chat. You pay attention to the well-being of your clients and offer a helping hand. Sometimes you assist with small things, like the mail or reminding them of appointments. Your efforts ensure that people can live independently at home for longer. This role is more than cleaning.
