  • As a forklift driver, you work in the cargo area of KLM Cargo at Schiphol. You work day shifts from 07:00 to 15:30. Want to start earlier and finish earlier? That's possible. You process, sort, and dispose of various waste streams. You work independently and ensure everything is done safely and neatly. Safety, speed, and accuracy are important in this place. Your workday is varied and active. You receive waste streams and place them in the correct containers. You separate and process waste and detect contamination. You empty containers into waste compactors and handle internal transport. You sort pallets with the forklift and move foil bales and manure waste containers. You clean compactors and containers and perform minor maintenance. You also report incidents and suggest improvements. You always work according to the strict procedures of Schiphol and KLM Cargo. You have an independent role with a lot of responsibility. You work in a professional team at an international, dynamic location. Schiphol is easily accessible by public transport. We ask

  • • MBO working and thinking level; • Valid forklift certificate; • VCA Basic (or willing to obtain it within 3 months); • Willingness to take the Air Freight Employee course (after VGB); • At least 1 year of experience as a forklift driver; • You can obtain a Certificate of No Objection (VGB); • You are stress-resistant, work independently and accurately; • You have a sense of responsibility; • You speak good Dutch; • Accessible by public transport (location is not accessible by car).
