- Join our dynamic team as a Financial Accountant in Maastricht, where you'll be an integral part of our international finance department. You'll be responsible for preparing and reporting monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy according to IFRS guidelines and company policy. This full-time role, spanning 38 hours per week from Monday to Friday, offers a structured workday starting between 08:00 and 09:00 and ending between 16:00 and 17:00. Your daily tasks include preparing and reconciling balance sheet accounts, managing general ledger accounts in the ERP system, and processing accruals and provisions. You'll execute month-end closings on a fixed schedule and support local finance teams and auditors with financial information. By identifying recurring issues, you'll contribute to effective solutions and process improvements. We ask
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting, or a related field; • 1-2 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting, Record-to-Report (R2R), or Financial Accounting; • Good understanding of IFRS standards and financial reporting processes; • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken; • Accurate, analytical, and detail-oriented working style; • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus; • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, auditors, and stakeholders across different countries; • Eager to develop professionally within an international finance environment.
