Where will you be working?
Forbo is an international company that produces high-quality floors, construction, and adhesive products. The headquarters of the Forbo Group is located in Switzerland, while the Forbo Flooring Systems division has major production sites in the Netherlands, including Assendelft, Krommenie, Wormerveer, and Coevorden. Forbo is a world market leader in linoleum floors and related products. Working at Forbo in production or logistics means being part of a team that makes and ships high-quality products. In production, you operate machines, process raw materials, and assemble or package flooring products. The work is practical, varied, and team-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and safety. In logistics, you organize the flow of goods within the company, receive goods, store them, prepare them for shipment, and ensure everything runs according to schedule. This may include working with forklifts, warehouse work, and contributing to an efficient internal flow of materials. The production environment is a real factory where personal protective equipment is used. Where there is a lot of dust, dust masks are worn, and safety shoes and/or helmets are mandatory where necessary. In production, the forklift is also used in several departments.

Are you ready for a challenging role in a dynamic environment? The trim department is a large and diverse department where a wide range of products are dried, assessed for quality, and coated with a lacquer. Products that meet the quality standards are carefully packed and sent to the warehouse. As an employee in the Trim, you work in a 3-shift system with a team of about 20 colleagues. The morning shift runs from 06:00 to 14:00, the afternoon shift from 14:00 to 22:00, and the night shift from 22:00 to 06:00. Initially, you focus on the inspection department, where you assess rolls with different products. This training period helps you become familiar with the products and recognize small errors that we do not want to send to our customers. If you perform well, you will start a training plan where you learn to safely handle the machines and processes within our department. Experienced colleagues guide you so that you can eventually perform tasks independently, such as working in the drying room or on the trim lines.
