Driver Internal Transport IJsselstein

Are you looking for a challenging role as a driver for internal transport? In this position, you are responsible for efficiently transporting laundry between the warehouse, the production hall, and the laundry facility. You work 36 hours per week, from Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16:30, and a half day on Friday. You perform an average of 14 to 15 trips per day across the industrial site of approximately 250 meters with a T-truck. It is your task to check the load for completeness and safety on each trip. After each shift, you leave the T-truck correctly. You work closely with the laundry team leader, transport colleagues, and operators of the packaging department. Accuracy and safety are essential in this role, which directly contributes to an optimal flow of goods and continuity of the production process. Your workday begins with picking up the first laundry according to the transport schedule. Throughout the day, you systematically carry out trips between the different departments. You register any deviations and report them to the team leader. You ensure timely supply so that the logistics process is not interrupted. You work independently and follow strict safety guidelines. It is important that you work methodically, accurately, and safely. This position is ideal for candidates with technical insight into logistics processes.
