  • Are you ready to play a crucial role in the production of impressive hydraulic cylinders? As a Cylinder Builder, you are responsible for preparing large cylinder tubes by positioning them in the workshop. You thoroughly clean parts and remove preservative oil and other contaminants. Additionally, you check parts for damage and deviations, and perform quality checks during various steps of the process. You assemble seals and other components and build hydraulic cylinders according to the required specifications. Testing the cylinders and troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions are also part of your duties. You ensure a neat, safe, and organized workplace. A large part of your workweek consists of preparing and cleaning parts, averaging three days per week. Additionally, you spend one day building cylinders and one day testing them. This way, you learn the entire production process and see your work grow from loose parts to an impressive end product.
