Are you a decisive leader who likes to be among the people? For our production department in Wijchen, we are looking for an experienced Production Team Leader. In this role, you are responsible for managing a team of over 22 employees per shift. Together with the other team leaders, you ensure a smooth operation within a production department of more than 44 employees. This is a position for a leader who stands firm, knows how to maintain an overview in a dynamic environment, and is not afraid to actively participate on the work floor. As a Production Team Leader, you are responsible for the daily operation. You ensure that processes run efficiently, employees know what is expected of them, and the set objectives are achieved. You are visibly present on the work floor and spend about 90% of your shift among your employees. You direct, motivate, correct where necessary, and support the process when needed. Especially during busy moments, you keep a cool head and know how to set priorities. Additionally, you are responsible for various administrative tasks, including preparing and sending daily reports to the Production Manager and Depot Manager, keeping track of email and Microsoft Teams, preparing CMR documents in the GLS transport system, correctly registering worked hours, and preparing and monitoring the personnel planning.

As a Distribution Team Leader, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the entire distribution process during your shift. You manage drivers, logistics staff, and transport partners, ensuring that all trips depart safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You are visibly present on the work floor, maintain an overview, and make the right decisions quickly. Thanks to your coaching and clear leadership style, you motivate employees and ensure optimal operation. In addition to operational management, you are responsible for various administrative tasks, such as preparing the daily staff schedule, processing worked hours, overtime, leave, and absenteeism, preparing and processing operational reports, registering and deregistering line hauls, monitoring distribution performance and identifying deviations, and maintaining contact with drivers, transport partners, and internal departments. You ensure that all administrative processes are accurately and timely processed. You are an experienced leader who stands firm. You know how to manage people in a respectful, clear manner and remain calm and organized under high work pressure. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following: you have a hands-on mentality and actively participate when the operation requires it; you are stress-resistant and switch quickly during busy peak moments; you communicate easily with drivers, colleagues, and external partners; you are decisive, responsible, and professional; you are flexible and willing to change shifts or schedules in case of illness or leave of colleagues. After a thorough induction period, you work in a rotating schedule. The shifts consist of a morning shift from 06:00 to 15:00 and an afternoon shift from 10:00 to 19:00. Depending on staffing or operational circumstances, it may occasionally be necessary to work an evening shift to oversee the return of drivers and the completion of distribution.
