Additionally, you step in where needed, for example, by helping colleagues restock products or answering customer questions. You ensure the checkout area remains tidy and that the baskets are back in place at the entrance. You've got everything under control! Your daily tasks in the store include correctly scanning products and assisting customers with checking out or returning items. You check prices, offers, and receipts and neatly resolve any discrepancies. Additionally, you maintain the cash drawer, count the change, and record cash transactions according to established procedures. You answer customer questions and refer them to the appropriate colleague or department if necessary. You ensure the checkout area remains tidy by, for example, replenishing bags and receipt rolls. When needed, you briefly assist on the shop floor, for example, by restocking products or keeping the area clean and organized.
