  • As a Caregiver IG in home care in Sneek, you work 24 to 28 hours per week. You work long shifts of 8 hours, which means you make enough hours but need to work fewer days. This is ideal if your private life does not require short shifts. You help people at home, where they feel most comfortable. Your care and attention make a difference every day.

    What does your workday look like? You start by checking your schedule. With your first client, you help with getting up, washing, and dressing. You have a chat and make sure breakfast is ready. You give medication on time. With the next client, you help with light household tasks or do some shopping. You are not only a helping hand but also a listening ear. After your lunch break, you continue with care, guidance, and sometimes some administrative tasks. You provide safety and structure in the lives of the elderly. Every day is different, but your effort always counts.

    • You speak good Dutch.
