Then this position as Back Office Expedition Employee at DHL Freight in Houten is something for you. You are part of the Planning department and ensure that the daily distribution processes run smoothly. No day is the same: you combine operational tasks with administrative duties and are an important link within the logistics operation.

We ask

  • • You start your workday at 5:30 AM. In the early morning, you are the first point of contact for our domestic drivers. You welcome them, assist with the use of the on-board computer, and ensure they have the correct documents to depart safely and on time. • Correctly processing and closing trips in the TMS system; • Supporting the daily departure processes; • Coordinating with Planning and Warehouse to ensure a smooth process. • When all drivers have departed around 9:00 AM, the focus shifts to administrative tasks, including: • Updating and checking cost overviews; • Cleaning up and processing transport orders; • Maintaining the trailer overview; • Creating and completing trips in the system; • Providing administrative support to the planners; • Identifying and following up on operational deviations. • Throughout the day, you also receive drivers of individual trips and help them on their way.
