You work in a 5-shift system and ensure that all machines and installations continue to run smoothly. You quickly and efficiently resolve malfunctions, together with colleagues and external specialists. On an average workday, you start with a handover from your colleagues. Then you check the machines and perform maintenance. You immediately see where improvements can be made and tackle this together with your team. In case of a malfunction, you analyze the cause and resolve it expertly. In between, you consult with operators and document your work in the system. You participate in improvement projects and actively think about optimization. We ask

  • • Completed mbo-4 education in mechatronics or similar; • At least 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience; • Experience in the food industry is a plus; • Knowledge of maintenance systems (such as SAP) is a plus; • Willingness to work in the 5-shift system; • Proactive, precise, and safety-conscious; • Team player with good communication skills; • You speak and understand Dutch well.

Allround Maintenance Technician (5-shift)

Are you a driven maintenance technician who enjoys working in a dynamic environment? As an all-round maintenance technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and inspection of machines and installations. You locate and resolve malfunctions and contribute to your personal development through training. You read and adjust PLC control programs and coordinate external technicians, ensuring safety and quality. Documentation of changes and administrative handling are also part of your duties. Additionally, you actively participate in improvement teams and optimization projects. You work in a team of 10 maintenance technicians with a buddy system, where two people are always present per shift. The 5-shift schedule consists of 2 morning shifts, 2 evening shifts, 2 night shifts, followed by 4 days off. Each shift begins with a handover meeting and the maintenance planner is always reachable. You handle both acute malfunctions and planned maintenance and are willing to carry the 'emergency/priority' phone.
