All-round Technical Operator

As a Production Operator, you are an important link within the production process. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that production runs safely, efficiently, and according to the correct quality standards. You work full-time, 40 hours per week, in a 3-shift system. No day is exactly the same. You closely monitor the production process and intervene when necessary. Your tasks include setting up and operating production machines, monitoring and overseeing the production process, identifying and resolving minor technical malfunctions, performing checks to ensure quality, supplying and removing raw materials using a forklift, regularly inspecting the production floor, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the production process runs as smoothly as possible. You will work at a growing company in the food industry, where high-quality cheese products are packaged daily for customers worldwide. You will work with a wonderful product and be part of an engaged team where collaboration, taking initiative, and a good atmosphere are central. As a working foreman/woman, you are responsible for the daily management on the production floor. You lead a team of 5 operators and 9 production employees, spread over multiple production lines. You are the first point of contact for your colleagues and ensure that the work runs smoothly. You keep an overview, distribute tasks, and ensure that everyone knows what needs to be done. In doing so, you motivate and support your team where necessary. Your tasks include, among others, the daily management and guidance of operators and production employees, coordinating work across different production lines, providing clear work instructions and feedback, monitoring the progress and quality of the production process, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and tidy work environment, solving practical problems and identifying improvement points, and participating in the daily work meeting during the morning shift.

As a welder, you are responsible for assembling and welding various metal parts and structures. You work independently based on technical drawings and ensure that each product meets the desired quality standards. You start your workday with a brief meeting with your colleagues, where the planning, tasks, and key focus points are discussed. Then you set up your workspace, check the materials, and get to work. Your tasks include performing MIG/MAG and/or TIG welding tasks, reading and applying technical drawings, preparing and checking materials, assembling and finishing various metal products, checking your own welding work for quality and accuracy, identifying deviations and potential improvements, and keeping your workspace neat, safe, and organized. You work together with experienced colleagues in an informal work environment where quality and safety are important.
