Are you looking for a part-time job alongside school or other work
Start your day with a brief meeting within the team to discuss key points, ongoing actions, and expected customer inquiries. Then, you are visible on the shop floor, where you advise customers on sizing, materials, use, maintenance, and smart combinations. You focus entirely on advising customers, while colleague teams handle stocking shelves and the cash register. As a sales assistant, you engage in conversations with customers to understand their needs and provide advice on the right products or combinations, such as an outfit with work shoes, a lounge set with cushions, pet care products with food, or machines with accessories. You think about alternatives that fit within the budget or delivery time and propose complete solutions. You provide inspiration and experience by explaining show and demonstration models, materials, and sizes, and offer maintenance tips. You coordinate with the warehouse and colleagues who stock shelves to check availability, make reservations, and plan pickup or delivery appointments, ensuring customers can always get what they need. For larger orders, you create quotes, register orders, keep customers informed of progress, and follow up on service inquiries diligently. You ensure safety and order by guiding customers in fitting, trying, or demonstrating products and handle the demonstration models carefully. It is important that you focus entirely on advising customers and not on cash register duties or stocking shelves; those tasks are handled by others. This job can also be seen as a holiday job if you want to work a lot this summer.
