Our work in practice. At Forbo Flooring

Retaining knowledge in a rapidly aging organization requires training. But how do you train new operators without halting production? That is the challenge at Forbo Flooring. Jeroen van den Heuvel explains how they tackle this together with Timing.

If we had not started this training program, we would simply have departments without trained operators now. It is necessary for the survival of Forbo Flooring.

A result to be proud of

That our collaboration with Forbo Flooring truly works in practice is evident from the figures below. Since the start of the process, dozens of operators have been trained and taken over by Forbo Flooring.

Fully tailored to Forbo Flooring

At Forbo Flooring, the production process requires in-depth process technical knowledge. With the aging population, there is a risk of a shortage of operators. Together with Timing, they developed an accelerated, in-house training program. Temporary workers are trained step by step to become operators. Fully tailored to the department where someone works. This way, production continues, and knowledge on the work floor grows.
