Establishment Timing Vakschool
Timing takes the next step in training and developing temporary workers with the establishment of the Timing Vakschool. With this vocational school, we combine our knowledge, experience, and practice-oriented training in one place. This way, we specifically respond to the increasing demand for craftsmanship on the work floor and the need for people to continue developing themselves.
Operators Training: accessible, practice-oriented, and personal
“People want to grow, but in a way that is achievable,” says Ronny Linthorst, project manager Training Temporary Workers. “That's why we developed a complete learning path together with Litop that is accessible and directly aligns with the practice of our clients.”
The strength lies in the structure. Every temporary worker gets access to our learning platform from day one with a targeted learning path for the operator field. This way, they can discover at their own pace whether the profession suits them, whether the level matches, and whether they want to develop further. If there is further interest, we offer the preparatory course. This lowers important barriers for our practically-minded target group and ensures that temporary workers start the official operator training well-prepared. With the right knowledge, motivation, and skills. What makes our approach unique is the personal guidance. Every participant gets a buddy or coach from Timing who supports, motivates, and accompanies them to the finish line. This way, we increase the chance of success and ensure that no one is left alone.
More operators, more continuity
Many sectors are under pressure due to aging and a shortage of qualified personnel. At the same time, valuable knowledge is disappearing from the work floor. With the Timing Vakschool, we invest in sustainable solutions: we train new people, retain knowledge, and ensure that production continues. New is that with the vocational school, we also train people who are not yet employed by a client where the operator training is used. This means more growth opportunities for temporary workers and a larger, better-trained pool of operators for our clients.
Training while production continues
All training within the Timing Vakschool is developed in close collaboration with clients. We combine e-learning with on-site lessons at the client. This way, we directly link theory to practice. The programs are tailored to the machines and processes of our clients, making the course material directly recognizable and applicable. This way, we do not train generally, but truly for the client. Our temporary workers also grow step by step in their role and are immediately valuable to the organization where they work. Through smart planning, we ensure that learning and working go hand in hand and that production can continue as usual. This approach is proven to work, as demonstrated by the client case of Forbo Flooring.
Building craftsmanship together
The Timing Vakschool is not an endpoint, but the beginning of a broader approach in which training is an integral part of collaborating with clients. We start with the Operators Training because there is an enormous national shortage of operators. At the same time, thousands of temporary workers work daily through Timing in the production sector. That is where the opportunity lies. By investing together in these motivated people and providing them with the right tools to develop into operators, we create perspective for temporary workers and a sustainable solution for our clients. This way, we build craftsmanship on the work floor together, with training that truly works. For our temporary workers and for our clients.
