Who is the UMCG?
The University Medical Center Groningen is one of the largest hospitals in the Netherlands and is the largest employer in the North of the Netherlands. The more than 12,000 employees work together on care, research, training, and education with the common goal: building the future of health.
The UMCG offers more than just care, research, etc., as they manage their own logistics, administration, and communication with their patients and relations. Therefore, there is a great diversity of roles and specializations. Something for everyone!
Despite all the differences, there is clearly something in common: the employees are passionate and perform their work with love. An important core value is 'see the person'. This applies to patients but also to each other as colleagues. Together they are the UMCG, and they are proud of it.
