Warehouse Operator

Do you want to be part of potentially life-saving care? Then apply for the position of Logistic Warehouse Employee at CEVA Logistics Heerlen! What does a day look like for you? • Orderpicking for medical products and devices; • Packing those products and shipping them; • Restocking the Warehouse; • Unloading incoming trucks and loading new trucks; • In time you can learn how to use EPT, OPT and perhaps forklift and a reachtruck! It is very important that you are able to stand/walk without problems and that you are able to lift boxes that can go up to 23 kilo. You find it important to deliver quality and you are not afraid to work hard. Experience in this is a plus, but not required. As long as you are well motivated, CEVA can teach you everything there is to know within this position!

Wil jij DE spil zijn in wellicht levensreddende zorg? Solliciteer dan voor de functie van productiemedewerker operatiekits bij CEVA Logistics Heerlen! Hierbij krijg je een order, bijvoorbeeld een kaakoperatie. Je krijgt een lijst met de spulletjes die jij moet verzamelen (zoals een tang, een klem, e.d.) voor die operatie. Vervolgens leg je deze netjes in een doos zodat deze zo spoedig mogelijk naar het ziekenhuis kan. Zonder de operatiekits die jij maakt kan een operatie niet plaats vinden! Het is van groot belang dat je netjes en secuur te werk gaat. Je vindt het belangrijk om kwaliteit te leveren en je bent niet bang om de handen uit de mouwen te steken. Ervaring hierin is mooi meegenomen, maar niet vereist. Zolang jij goed gemotiveerd bent kan CEVA jou alles aanleren binnen de functie!

In the medical world products can be returned. Think of products where the customer ordered too many, products that are unnecessary or not up to the customers liking and more. It is up to you to receive those products, to assess them (can they go back into the warehouse for another order?) and to process them. This way products can be resold or reused and will not be wasted! You need to have a careful eye to spot incorrect returns and faulty products effortlessly. You can also work accurately and you can work at a fast pace, because the next customer might already be waiting for a product that you are handling at Returns! Experience is not a strict requirement. It is certainly a bonus, but with the right commitment and motivation your colleagues can teach you all there is to know about Returns!
